december magic...

It's the most wonderful time of the year!

And the most magical part of our holiday season was having these beautiful people with us!
The Nakamuras were with us for most of December
which was the BEST THING EVER.

We also celebrated Hanukkah,
 did some Max the Bunny sitting,
 celebrated Christmas,
played with Sora,
kissed Sora,

chased Sora,
   celebrated Brook's birthday,
  and rang in the New Year in style!

We had an incredible month to finish out another incredible year! Thank you for being part of our lives! All our best wishes for 2015!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

2014 highlight series: ARIZONA

In April we packed up and took this show on the road
for a long anticipated trip to Arizona!
The kids were beside themselves with excitement!
We arrived in Phoenix late at night, so we spent one night in an incredibly fancy airport hotel...
Check out the interior glass elevator!

The next morning was EASTER and we headed down to Tucson to reconnect with all of our Arizona people!
Ashley & Scott hosted a lovely Easter celebration for everyone!
These New Englanders spent almost the entire time
in and around the swimming pool!
And catching up with their beautiful cousins...
Jane & Laina bonding...
Pepper!
Ryan & Max bonding...
Lucky for us, Tucson is also home to the Kanter clan's extended family, so we had some bonus time with Jamie, Leslie & Ivy!
We went to the zoo!
We visited Papa Ric and his awesome motorcycle!
We caught up with our dear friends, the Ladners!
And we spent a fun afternoon with Opa!
Arizona is so magical. The people we love, the place itself...
It holds a very special place in our hearts.

And as always, thanks for stopping by!

gratitude in november...

November was truly a blur!

Brook and I kicked off the month with a long, kid-free weekend
(thank you Grammie & Papa!) in NYC with our dear, dear INSEAD friends from Chile, the Senermans...

It was relaxing, exciting, fun, funny, you name it.
A perfectly perfect weekend.
~~~~~~~~~~
Max's second grade class went on a field trip to Sturbridge Village,
an incredible place in Western Massachusetts simulating
life in the 1830s. I chaperoned and may have found it
more fascinating than the kids, just saying.
Max with his buddy Joey.
~~~~~~~
The next fun event was an outing to see Annie, the musical,
on stage in Boston!

...followed by Max's acting debut in The Wizard School,
put on by The Center for Arts in Natick!
He was a STAR!!!!
~~~~~~~
For the rest of the month, we just goofed around...
...until Thanksgiving when some of us actually became turkeys!
(Jane in her turkey hat!)
Happy Thanksgiving!
An attempt at a photo of the 'kids' table...
"Elsa" hamming it up with Papa...
~~~~~~~~~
Finally, our last November novelty was ice skating lessons for all!

CHEERS!

Another excellent month has whizzed by.

Thanksgiving always reminds us of how grateful we are for our incredible family and friends, near and far.
Thank you all of making our lives so full of joy.
And as always, thanks for stopping by!

spooky october!

October - being one of New England's most spectacular months -
was just that for the Rosenbaums!
Jane played on her first ever soccer team and loved it!

We braved the Topsfield Fair!
And loved it!
Max was especially awed by the Revolutionary War weaponry...

This photo was taken high atop the Ferris Wheel!

~~~~~~~~
Then I flew to Chicago to run the Chicago Marathon
with my favorite pal, Bridget...
Running nerds at the pre-race Expo...
Gearing up the morning of...
Well, this is debatable, but we finished and a life goal was completed!
~~~~~~~

In more important news, our amazing Kate turned 3!

She celebrated with all of her friends at Planet Gymnastics...

It was an exciting and crazy event for everyone!

~~~~~~~~~
Finally, October's biggest day arrived...
HALLOWEEN!
Max in his second tour as a soldier...
Jane, a University of Arizona cheerleader with Parker, a vampire...
And our miniature Elsa (from the movie Frozen in case you happen to have been living on another planet for the past year)...
This year we hosted our neighborhood's Halloween Pre-Trick-or-Treat Party on our driveway. The weather was great and the kids were so excited in their awesome costumes.
SMASHING HALLOWEEN SUCCESS!
(The incredible skull cake was made by Uncle Matt)
