A 2012 wrap up bonanza...

OCTOBER!

Brook & I had a great time running the Boston Half-Marathon on October 7 culminating many months of training...

Then,

this little gal turned ONE!

(Kate on her actual birthday)

And we celebrated about a week later...

We loved the fall weather...

And colors....

And soccer every Saturday...

Finally,

HALLOWEEN!

NOVEMBER!

 The month kicked off with an early snowstorm...

And then continued with the usual chaos...

Look!  They aren't fighting!

 Plus an awesome little visit from Uncle Jamie...

Then, Thanksgiving!

...where our Native American ancestors were represented well...

And Jesse & Devon came to see us...

...and try on hundreds of tutus...

DECEMBER!

Of course December is the most wonderful time of the year...

 Starting with the Christmas tree that Max chose!

Then eight lovely nights of Hannukah...

Next up...

Our annual trip to the Boston Symphony Orchestra's Holiday Pops!

Then there was our special holiday guest, Max the Bunny -

Cousin Matt & Destini's adorable pet 

who stayed with us for the holidays.

  And then there was the Big Day! 

Complete with a stop here on Christmas Day 

for ear infections and sinusitis...

Before a way more fun stop here!

 (And UNCLE BB was home!!!)

Who could forget this guy's birthday in the midst of all the holiday fun?!

Not me!

Then Jane had a very special outing to see the Nutcracker Ballet!

And finally, we rang in the New Year with SNOW!!!

(I want to go out too!!!!!!!!!)

september... off to school and more!

Our Biggest September News: Max started KINDERGARTEN!

 After much anticipation and excitement, the big day came 

and Max did a great job!  

And he has continued to enjoy it

(despite being exhausted!) every day since.

In other news....

One September Sunday afternoon, Jane and I attended a 

Princess Party in the local shopping plaza.

What can I say?

It was spectacular.

Kate started a baby music class...

where mostly she roams around and looks out the door, 

or does this to our good friends Hudson (pictured) and George...

And finally,

we wrapped up the month with a fun weekend 

in Manchester, Vermont, where the weather was iffy 

but we loved it anyway.
