New York New York!!!
Max, Grammie and I had the great fortune to spend weekend in New York City in early May! Max and I rode the train - which was super exciting - and Grammie met us there Friday night.
It was an awesome weekend (despite some weather challenges)!
When we arrived at Penn Station, we continued our transportation excitement by taking a pedicab to the apartment!
Our ride up 6th Avenue on a beautiful Friday evening...
at a red light...
and Max enjoyed his very first Shirley Temple
at a "fancy" restaurant with me!
On Saturday morning, we headed way downtown to take a ferry to the Statue of Liberty, but alas, it was raining and cold.
Waiting for the subway...
So we took a mini-bus tour and headed back uptown,
making an all-important stop at the Toys R Us in Times Square!
Then we went back to the apartment for a break...
...before a carriage ride through Central Park!

Next Stop: FAO Schwartz!
And later that evening we went to the Empire State Building!
Sadly, when we got to the top, the weather was like this:
And this was the view:
Visibility was 0% ... but hey, there were no crowds!
Sunday morning we went to the Museum of Natural History...
...before heading home.
What a fantastic adventure!
