After what was an insanely busy October, I will confess that November was a low picture-taking month. Nevertheless, we had fun.

We witnessed the last leaves of fall turn brilliant shades...

Max got bossier still...

And Jane, well, Jane just lit up the world with her smile...

DECEMBER!!!

dinner time chez nous...

Well it's almost the end of November. We hope everyone had a happy & healthy Thanksgiving. We sure did (I mean, aside from Grammie having laryngitis and Jane getting an ear infection).

As you will see in this video from dinner time tonight, we're still working on getting Jane to eat "solids," a process in which Max is a tremendous help.

the halloween recap...

Halloween 2009 was a success! Max went as Cheez-it (the goldfish in his preschool classroom) and Jane was a super-cute little monster. It was a double-header holiday with the McKinsey Halloween party on Friday evening and the neighborhood celebration on Saturday night. It was spooky and silly and full of sugar... just the way it's supposed to be!

Who could cram more into one month than the Rosenbaums? Exactly. No one. October was excellent. We had gorgeous New England weather (for the most part) and many noteworthy events.

First, Max started preschool! It was so exciting - and he loves going everyday.

Then, the wonderful Williams Family came all the way from Dallas to introduce Trevor to his new girlfriend, our very own Baby Jane!

We also had the distinct pleasure of a quick visit with the lovely Miss Terri Schroeder of Grand Rapids, MI.

It's always a treat to catch up with Terri...

And Aunt Elise also came to see us ... all the way from Sedona! It was so much fun to have her with us! We miss you, Elise!

In the midst of all of our visitors, Baby Jane grew up enough to start eating "solids"!

And Aunt KK took us to this amazing farm to soak up the New England fall...

Our biggest adventure in October was a trip to Alexandria, VA to visit the Herman Brothers! We flew in a plane and had a family sleep-over for two nights!

(It rained the e-n-t-i-r-e time we were there so you can just imagine the chaos of four kids under one roof. It was great!)

July was busy and exciting and fun.

We kicked it off with a 4th of July Family Reunion chez Bachman.

It was a great weekend with lots of fun, food and laughs.
