In mid-September we took the kids to Nantucket for an overnight

at the Kissam's lovely home. The weather was PERFECT

and we had an excellent trip.

BRIMFIELD!

Right after we got back from NYC, I spent a day at "THE" Brimfield Antique Fair with Leslie & Hanna. Despite the oppressive heat, we had a fun day scouting for random items. It is an incredible event - huge and difficult to navigate - but we learned a lot and can't wait for next year now that we know how it all works.

We did it!

In early September we took the kids - and Kara (thank God) - to

THE BIG APPLE!

Two of our favorite INSEAD friends were there from Chile for a quick weekend, so we joined them for an NYC overnight. It was fantastic!

Brook and I were lucky enough to attend the beautiful wedding in Magnolia, MA, on the summer's most beautiful weekend....
