july in review...

(Since I don't know where the summer went, please humor me and pretend it is still July 31st. Please?)

July was busy and exciting and fun.

We kicked it off with a 4th of July Family Reunion chez Bachman.

It was a great weekend with lots of fun, food and laughs.

where does the time go?

It's three weeks into July and I am just now posting our photos from June. Really, I don't know where the time goes but each day I wake up with a few "goals" (like taking a shower or updating this blog) and before I know it I am racing the clock to get to bed before the night-feedings begin...

June

June was wonderful... We had fun

in the pool, went "hiking," celebrated Father's Day,

met and rode Thomas the Tank Engine, had a lovely visit with Cara,

oh - and welcomed Baby Jane to the world!!!

Max's initial reaction to his new sister was a big surprise.  He was sweet and curious and affectionate when he came to meet little Janie at the hospital.  See?

welcome baby jane!

She has arrived and we couldn't be more thrilled!  Baby Jane stunned her mother by being a girl, delighted us with her health and well-being, and of course pleased us all with her punctuality (she arrived on her due date!)...

My apologies!  It's taken much longer than expected to transition from our old blog to this one.  We've been a little busy, but thankfully we've pulled it together just in time - Baby #2 is due in FOUR weeks!  

We are all very excited to meet "Coconut," the newest 

Rosenbaum affectionately named by big brother Max.  

The post below should fill in the gap between our year in France and now.  We plan to keep this up to date going forward, so be sure to check back for news about our happy lives.
